Sr. Operations Production Analyst

Jacksonville, FL
Minimum Requirements:
• Experience with large server (IBM mainframe) technologies and architectures in a complex,
heterogeneous systems environment.
• Strong working knowledge of MVS operating systems and related software/hardware.
• Strong understanding of Workload Management in a high volume batch processing environment.
• Experience working with Capacity Management software products.
• Experienced in analyzing processing environments with focus on identifying improvement opportunities.
• Experience in working with various technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Ability to perform as technical advisor to staff and management.
• Ability to train others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Project).
Job Responsibilities
• Communicate difficult technical or complex ideas in a straightforward manner.
• Operate environments/platforms and their applications.
• Upward communication – ensures that frontline concerns are heard.
• Provides feedback on existing standards and processes.
• Identify risk areas and implement proactive or corrective steps.
• Identify and resolve simple problems related to applications, utilizing diagnostic tools.
• Recognize and diagnose error problems to a specific condition before turnover or escalation.
Education:
• 4-year Information Systems degree or equivalent work experience in a larger server (IBM mainframe)
systems environment.
Experience:
• 3 - 5 years MVS systems experience, specifically related to Operating system software.
