| Job Description:
Experienced requirements engineer to project teams works directly with client personnel in area(s) of expertise. Creates business and software requirements (functional and non-functional) for applications software changes and/or new releases, particularly in mortgage technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Writes software requirements in standard declarative and use case formats; gathers requirements from client through interviews or reverse engineering of existing software artifacts; writes technical specifications; reviews code to identify software requirements; knowledge and experience with non-functional requirements analysis and specification

Education:
Bachelors degree from a four year college or university.
Experience:
4-6 years professional level experience including two years in client relationship management and project management and/or a technical field (e.g., programming, telecom/network, client/server); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of financial services industry, including retail, mortgage/loans/deposits and wholesale banking;
Considerable knowledge and use of requirements engineering methods, tools, and technology used to create and support defect-free, application software that meets the needs of the client/business partner;
Knowledge of conversion methodologies and the basic principles, processes, phases and roles relevant to each conversion methodology;
Skill in understanding and focusing on the clients needs, establishing credibility and building relationships with clients;
