| Job Title: Process Engineer |
| Description |
| Location: Erie, PA
This engineer develops and improves processes that support the project life cycle and improves other disciplines, techniques, processes, procedures and supporting system tools supported by the department. The successful candidate will facilitate process development and deployment activities, including process development, process measurement, training and communication, and all related documentation.
Requirements include:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management, or equivalent
Five to ten years of previous experience in information technology, or equivalent, including in-depth knowledge of process improvement or business process re-engineering
Some previous experience managing medium to large-sized projects
In-depth understanding of change management techniques and the integration of technology and processes
Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, and process flow diagramming software
Preferred qualifications include: General Insurance Certificate, Associate in Information Technology (AIT) designation or other professional education and a familiarity with project management processes and Agile development methods.
Candidates should have excellent conceptual, analytical, and technical skills. Excellent collaboration, facilitation and communication skills are also important.
